More Granola is handmade in small batches and baked fresh each week. Because we are a handmade product, each bag may be a little bit different. This is natural! Every bag is hand packed with love by a person, not a machine. We want to bring bakery style granola to your home and hope you love it as much as we love sharing it with you.
We set out to make the chunkiest granola around for an easy snack straight out of the bag! If chunks aren't your thing, More Granola can easily be broken up into bite sized pieces to be enjoyed by the spoonful.
From the date it is baked, we conservatively say that our granola is best eaten within 3 months. More Granola is safe to eat after the best before date marked on each package, but since we do not use any preservatives it will naturally (and proudly!) become stale over time.
All of our ingredients are naturally free of gluten and we use Certified gluten-free oats in our recipe. However, we currently bake out of a commercial kitchen that also handles gluten. While our operations are completely separate, this may be a consideration for those with a severe gluten allergy.
Yes! More Granola is dairy-free and vegetarian friendly.
Almost! The only non-vegan ingredient we use is honey.
Original Nutty Crumble and Coconut Macaroon both contain honey, but Hot Cocoa and Pecan Pie are both 100% vegan.
While many of our ingredients are certified organic, we are not 100% organic at this time. Since we use whole grains, we've prioritized sourcing organic oats, flax seeds and brown rice over organic nuts. Grains are one of the most likely sources of pesticide reside, while tree nuts with their hard outer shells are less likely to be contaminated.
We offer Canada and US wide shipping.
Yes! Opt-in to receive tracking emails during check-out.
Shipping rates depend on order size and distance. Specific rates will be calculated at check-out. We offer free Canada wide shipping on orders over $75!
We ship all orders in cardboard boxes, paper and air pillows that are all 100% recyclable. Please note that the packing tape is not recyclable and should be removed and disposed.
Our digitally printed pouches are considered code #7 "other" recycling. However, due to the multi-layer structure of code #7 recycling, it is frequently considered non-recyclable in Canadian waste management facilities. We believe adding the #7 recyclable code to our packaging would be misleading, so until we are able to bring you a truly recyclable (or compostable!) pouch we have refrained from adding this symbol.
We've partnered with Rootree to develop our digitally printed pouches.
With an optimized printing process, they've reduced manufacturing waste by 75% compared to competitors. Flexible packaging requires less water and energy to produce plus results in 70% less primary and secondary packaging. Because of its light weight, it takes 1 truck to transport the same number of digitally printed pouches as 26 trucks transporting glass jars! We're continuously exploring ways to be ever more sustainable, and do our part in creating a healthier planet.
We use Shopify's Offset application that helps us offset carbon emissions created by shipping More Granola. Our contributions are currently funding the Jarí Para Forest Conservation Project in the Amazon Rainforest, find out more here!
We've partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank to donate our excess supply to those in need.
